Simple Easter Decorating Ideas with Free Vintage-Inspired Printables
Can you believe Easter is almost here? I thought I had an extra week to get my life together—but nope. We are hosting this year, and my dining room is still halfway packed with my kitchen mess.
If you’re in the same boat (busy, behind, and still wanting things to feel special), I’ve got you covered. Today I’m sharing free Easter printables along with easy Easter decorating ideas you can pull together in no time—using things you already have at home.
These vintage-inspired printables have that storybook charm (think Peter Rabbit and childhood favorites), and I’ve been using them all over my home—from simple flower arrangements to quick little hostess gifts.
If you have a printer and a little creativity, you can create meaningful Easter touches your guests will remember—without spending a fortune.

Here is this week’s printable:
Can you tell I grew up reading The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, and Jemima Puddle-Duck?
If you ever meet my mother, she will tell you I could not leave a store without a book in hand. I always asked for one, and she could never resist. Her philosophy was simple—she never wanted me to dread reading. So she leaned into it, and I spent many days lost in storybooks.
These vintage Easter printables remind me so much of those moments.
Now I’m tempted to dig those books out again and see if they still feel the same. Isn’t it funny how we see things differently as adults? Some stories hit differently, but others bring you right back like no time has passed at all.
Easy Easter Decorating Ideas Using Printables
I printed out my Easter printables and started playing around with a few easy Easter decorating ideas using things I already had around the house.

If you don’t have cardstock, don’t worry—regular printer paper works just fine. And if you want a sturdier card, just glue a cereal box to the back. Around here, we make it work without spending extra money.
Hydrangea Arrangement with Printable Card
Earlier this week, I worked on another hydrangea arrangement—only this time, the flowers were already dried. These blooms were compliments of my mother once again.
Let me tell you… dried hydrangeas are not for the faint of heart. I had petals everywhere.

I grabbed an old gift box (one from Bath & Body Works), and when my original idea didn’t pan out, I pivoted. I started layering the hydrangeas in the box until it was overflowing.
There was one stubborn empty spot I just could not fill without losing half the petals. So instead of fighting it, I grabbed one of my printable Easter cards, added a few faux berries and greenery, and called it done.

And honestly? It made the whole arrangement.
Sometimes when things aren’t working, you just pivot. I do it all the time.

Now I have a beautiful, budget-friendly Easter centerpiece to greet guests at the door.
Tip: Glue your printable to a cereal box backing and/or attach a skewer to use it in taller floral arrangements.
Bunny Scene with Flower Frog
On my next little decorating adventure, I added a mama bunny and her two kiddos to a flower frog and styled it on the dining room buffet.
It took all of two minutes.
This is my kind of easy Easter decor—simple, charming, and done before I can overthink it.

Gold Gilded Box Easter Display Idea
Next, I tucked one of the Easter printable cards into a gold gilded box with birds.
I didn’t glue anything down—I just angled the card slightly for a little flair and called it finished.
I hope you’re seeing the pattern here… these Easter decorating ideas are intentionally easy. When life feels like too much, I take the simple route every single time.

Upcycled Tin Can Easter Decoration
Then I grabbed a tin can from my stash (yes, I save them—and yes, I use them all the time).
I added a spring blue and white flower napkin using a glue stick, trimming along the pattern to keep my lines somewhat straight—because let’s be honest, I cannot cut a straight line to save my life.
I cut out one of the duck images, rounded the corners, and glued it to the front over the blue and white paper napkin. Then I added the scalloped edge from the napkin around the rim for a more finished look.
A little moss and a succulent later… and now I have a DIY Easter decoration that cost me absolutely nothing.
Tin cans really are little decorating diamonds in the rough.

Printable Easter Gift Box Idea
I also have a small gift box that ties on one side that I’ll be giving to a guest this Easter.
I’m still deciding which printable Easter image to use on it—this is where I tend to overthink things.
You’ll have to tell me… which one would you choose?

Simple Easter Styling with Books and Bunnies
Lastly, I tucked a rabbit printable into the top of a book as a bookmark in our hallway. These little bunnies peeking out the top can greet visitors with a hey there, welcome, every day of the week.
I love finding unexpected ways to greet guests when they walk in—it’s those little details that make a home feel special.

Easy Easter Hostess Gift Ideas (Free + Handmade)
Every holiday, I like to give a small take-away gift as a thank you.
This year, I get to say thank you for coming—which feels a little different.
If you remember the recipe cards from last week, you could easily pair those with these free Easter printables to create a thoughtful, handmade gift.
In my opinion, gifts don’t need to be elaborate. The small, meaningful ones always stick with me the most.
A coworker once gave me a handwritten recipe, and I still keep it in my recipe box to this day. She said she had shared recipes like that with coworkers over the years so they would always remember each other.
I loved that idea instantly.
So if you’re looking for Easter hostess gift ideas, this is such a simple and heartfelt option while staying on a budget.
