Remember how we have been clearing out Mr. Vintage's childhood home and bringing a whole home's contents into our already cozy cottage? I have put my thinking cap on and we're getting creative so we can reuse what is already here.
We had this golf caddie and bag and I was like what am I going to do with them?
We are running out of room to store items. I know, I know, get rid of items. We plan to go through things this winter to see what we can keep and what we can let go of.
I am sure it is no surprise to you that Mr. Vintage doesn't have issue letting go, me, on the other hand? Yep, you guessed it... this gal is sentimental. I have a hard time letting go of certain things, and then I see all of the projects I can do with items... there lies the issue.
Me and projects go hand and hand. He said throw away the golf bag, clubs, and the caddie. Me? I said, oh no, I see yard tool storage. You can see who won on this one.
Now I can pull the golf caddie around with all of my tools. No more walking back and forth from the flower beds to the garage to keep getting the tools I need. They will all be in one place! I used the small zippered sides and front to store my small hand trowel and keep my gloves in.
Do you see we were even able to store our blower in the golf bag? Our shovels, rake, the hand gardening tools we use, and our gloves all in one spot. Have I mentioned I need help with organization before? I believe so... this will help us stay on track of getting this cozy cottage organized in Vintage Style!
I am a visual person who likes to have everything out where I can see it. Are you the same? We are working on getting things easily accessible, yet satisfying my need to see everything at once. Or should I say, we were working on this until the need to clear out the home became a necessity.
If you recall, we organized our closet in the bathroom and then wallpapered it to fit my love of making everything fancy pants. Do you know the closet is still organized and labeled? I am giving myself a pat on the back.
Having it all labeled and the ability to see and know what is stored in each tote and box has really helped me keep it organized. I love that! I get visually overwhelmed when everything is in utter chaos. A place for everything, and everything in it's place.
Now, if anyone has ideas for the golf clubs, I am all ears! I am unsure what I am going to do with them... I may need some time to think about this one. Hope you have a happy Monday!
