Snowy Patio

On this happy day after Christmas, we have a little over six inches of snow.  As I have mentioned before, we love snow in this home.

Here is a portion of our patio, it is small, but in the spring, you can find me out here sprucing things up for summer.

I found these chairs at a local antique store.  The paint is beginning to chip and I need to decide if I will paint them black like the other pieces on the patio or not....

These small tables came from an auction and I loved the almost honeycomb pattern captured by the snow today.  They are pretty old... I need to paint them this summer too.

We had hens and chicks in these pots this summer.  They are about the only thing I can keep alive...

Being an older home, we only have a one car garage so storage is kind of limited for us.  The patio furniture has to stay out all year round and I paint it with Rustoleum paint to keep our pieces looking nice.  Most of our pieces are from the 50's which makes me smile.

This architectural piece came from my favorite place, Hope Timber.  It is an old, rusty, crusty piece, but I looked at it and it reminded me of angel wings on the sides and knew it had to come home with me for our patio.  The solar lights came from Plow and Hearth.  One works like a charm, the other works when it wants to which is not often.

I hope you enjoyed this small part of our patio on this snowy Saturday.  Stay warm and stay safe out there.
