Why we put random objects in front of our windows

Looks like an innocent photo, right?  WRONG!!

We cannot even open our curtains or windows due to this character...  and you will see shortly why.  Yes, he is barking to his little heart's content.

Oh yes, we had new windows installed this past year and he discovered he could see out the window if he jumped up on the window sill...

Normally, I would not mind him peeking out the window, but he will not leave it at that.  No, this peanut will not have it if someone walks by our home on the street, a dog?  He is not having any part of that.  He will bark like a maniac and claw at the windows.  Our screens are on the inside and when I discovered this new behavior, I said no, I am not having that!

So, we put random objects in front of our windows to prevent him from being able to look outside.  Not ideal, but I would rather that be the case than scratched up windows and ripped up screens.  Isn't it amazing what we do for our fur babies?  Do you do crazy things for your four-legged loves?
