I like to utilize the space I have in the kitchen. I do not have room for a spice rack on the counter with the limited counter space we have. Maybe once the kitchen undergoes a make-over, but until then, we make do with what we have.
So... I came up with a hanging spice rack. I purchased a 42 inch long frame, flipped it horizontal, painted the glass with magnetic paint, and added spice pots with magnets on the bottom, hung it on the wall over the stove and there you have an easy spice rack on the wall. Now all I need to do is add the spices.
